Keri Henderson is a DC area native who has always had an eye for style. She is a fashion stylist and philanthropist.
Keri graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a M.B.A. concentrating in Marketing. Upon graduation, Keri intended to pursue a career in fashion marketing, but that quickly changed after launching a lifestyle blog , A Diva State of Mind, in 2009 while simultaneously working in the retail space. The blog served as a platform to provide fashion tips, share the latest trends, promote fashionable events and more.
To fully immerse herself into the world of styling, Keri completed the School of Style Stylist Certification Program and participated in the Style for Hire training, a workshop created and taught by TLC's "What Not To Wear" & "Love Lust Run" host Stacey London.
In the words of Diane von Furstenberg, “style is something that each of us already has, all we need to do is find it.” That mantra is exactly what Keri translates to all of her clients! Whether she's styling wear-to-work looks or on set at a photo shoot, Keri exercises her versatility in creating stylish looks.
Keri has worked with a variety of individual clients. Her work has been featured in ELEGANT Magazine, SALYSÉ Magazine, Afro Elle Magazine, SOLA Magazine and Today's Black Woman Style Report Magazine. Keri has also been featured as a style expert on Let's Talk Live DC and Fox 5 DC.
When she’s not styling photos shoots or working with individual clients, you can find Keri planning her next charity event.
