Exploring, experimenting and discovering who we are, what we’re passionate about and why we are here.
I’ve always been curious about entrepreneurship and have a passion for building economic wealth in our communities; that curiosity and passion has grown into a career that combines my 15 years of experience in procurement, small business content marketing and consulting.
Over the years, I’ve worked with trailblazers across industries, from clients in Los Angeles to small business owners and government agencies, building trust through collaboration, creative problem-solving, and authentic communication.
I use my platform, The Kickback with Keri to amplify Black voices and brands through my curated monthly newsletter and podcast. My goal is simple, to see Black owned businesses not just survive, but thrive; helping to close the racial wealth gap and building generational wealth in our communities.
I’ve always had a heart for serving, having spent more than 10 years hosting charity events to support organizations throughout the DMV. To date, these events have provided over 5,000 in-kind donations and 800 lunches to non-profit organizations caring for the most vulnerable in our communities.
I’ve been nominated for a Young, Black & Giving Back Philanthropist of the Year Award and I am a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
